MB N65 JOINT INTRODUCTION:

The MB N65 joint consists of a single-piece nosing joint that incorporates a formed vulcanized elastomer segment, ranging from 1 to 2 meters in length. This segment contains embedded metal supplements, carefully molded to ensure optimal load transmission.

 

 

Specific features:

• Complete elastomer continuity and an overlapping area where the elements meet guarantee watertightness.
• The unique shape of the N joint, combined with elastomer contact, allows for the absorption of wheel impact and running surface irregularities, ensuring an excellent level of user comfort.
• The steel inserts receive a complete elastomer coating, ensuring comprehensive defense against corrosion and chemical attacks. This protective layer shields the inserts from various substances, including oil, grease, hydrocarbons, and de-icing salts.
• Particularly easy to install.

Movement range:

Engineers design the N joint to accommodate a movement capacity of only 65 mm. However, for skew angles less than 70 degrees, the movement capacity is decreased. The adjacent table illustrates the N joint’s ability to accept movement based on the skew angle (α) of the main structure.

The N joint offers two anchoring options for installation: it can be secured either with a rabbet or directly within the thickness of the surface material.
